So we have the Charter...and 3 signatures.
Ive been checking Darkstars mail nightly, but so far nothing.
I guess the first question to throw out there is, is there anyone who has not yet signed the charter but would like to?
Secondly, Id really love to get the guild out of the charter phase. And am tempted to buy whatever sigs we need. Or alternatively if anyone knows anyone who can roll up an alt to sign.
I had hoped we could drum up enough interest initially to not have to resort to this option, but I feel the lack of a real guild is slowing down progression a tad being as currently it's Darkstar or bust.
As far as the actual guild goes, not sure how many people have been filled in on the Xaiden revelation concerning Darkstar, but there has been some discussion on the guild being two factions within itself. Good and...not so good.
What is the consensus of this idea?
Personally I kind of like it. It may help drum up some more interest in the guild and also give us an ongoing conflict of sorts.

The problem I've noticed with our little guild here, is that we're not public. We live in the underworld of the church, and as such, we cannot advertise like the Modan Co. and such. _________________ Watch out, or I'll build a ladder wide enough for the centaurs to get up onto Thunder Bluff, and then beef will be for dinner. |

This.
Also, no one is always on the same time Xaiden/Darkstar is. _________________ "I kill two dwarfs in da morning, I kill two dwarfs at night, I kill two dwarfs in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. That does make sense. _________________ Watch out, or I'll build a ladder wide enough for the centaurs to get up onto Thunder Bluff, and then beef will be for dinner. |

I am. Pretty much every time I'm on I've seen Xaiden on.
I think we are going to need more members to get things really going. What we've done so far is great, and a lot of fun, but to really get the most out of our group here I think more people is the answer.
This leaves us with a few problems.
1. How can we advertise without marcos in guild recruitment?
2. How can we avoid picking up shallow role players (god-moders, Mary Sue's, and people who say *smiles* in /say), those who don't intend to stick around, etc.
3. I've heard from a few people that they aren't interested in joining up with us because they see our story as lore breaking. While I don't entirely agree with them, I do see they're point. A final war against the Burning Legion that will be decided by the fate of the General is quite presumptuous, and not to mention hard to pull of in the game. Perhaps a little fine tuning of the storyline could boost interest. (More of a suggestion than a problem.) |

Just to let you guys know, I took the Mary Sue test and I made a -2.
As for the story, we can say that she isn't really making a final battle against the Legion, but she is an important part in the battle against them. If they kill her, then the battle will be much longer and many will die. Azeroth will still be victorious, just more death.
*EDIT* Is this ok? I think this is a well thought out idea dealing with the whole Lyssira vs. BL thing. _________________ "I kill two dwarfs in da morning, I kill two dwarfs at night, I kill two dwarfs in the afternoon, and then I feel alright. 3. You know, now that you mention it, I have read that complaint in a couple of places.
I will contact Eto and see if he can provide us with a statement that would help to show that The General story is not lore breaking.
Armed with such a statement I might try another guild announcement thread on the Moon Guard forum. _________________ "The fun of FIRPing is using your skills to enhance the RP experience of others." - Aquataine |

-1. Woot! doesn't apply to X though.
I don't see anything wrong with the storyline. _________________ Watch out, or I'll build a ladder wide enough for the centaurs to get up onto Thunder Bluff, and then beef will be for dinner. |

The 3 and -1, you guys are talking about the MS test, right? _________________ "I kill two dwarfs in da morning, I kill two dwarfs at night, I kill two dwarfs in the afternoon, and then I feel alright.
