My computer is currently acting a tad buggy so I was unable to post on the forums. I haven't quite decided on a character yet and will probably end up waiting until a basic idea is established.

Concerning the brainstorming.....
I finish my last two final exams tomorrow in the morning, so my brain is currently bogged down with math symbols. Though I should be of more use in another sixteen hours or so.

I look forward to getting to know all of you.

I've already got a level 40 Draenei paladin on the server, so I'll be using her with the group. Great chance to get her involved in some RP, compared to her almost non-existent RP friend basis thus far. She's a bit misanthropic, and generally distrusts all people - as per the Exodar falling. She still isn't sure it was the Blood Elves, and blames everyone until the evidence becomes undeniable.

The name is Orabelle.

Hrm, about me. I've been playing WoW since opening. Started out on a PvE server because I was too scared to play on PvP and my brother said RP servers were for losers. Well, accidentally clicking on the RP Forum link while trying to get to the OT *slap on 'Is No Longer an OTer badge'* and instantly fell in love with RP.

At first I stuck to forum RP only - and still do. I love the structure and detail you are able to get on the forums, which is something still lacking in-game. Well, long story short, I eventually tried in-game RP and fell in love with that as well.

I usually play Horde, so Alliance is a bit of a welcomed change for me.

What else... Oh - I'm 20 years old. Currently go to Boston College in erm, Boston. My 'home' is in New Jersey, where I have a twin brother, older brother, and amazing mother.

I go to college for Marketing, but my real passion lies in the arts. I love acting, singing, and dancing, as well as playing softball and soccer.

I'm extremely easy-going, and pretty much able to get along with anyone , and am always up for a good challenge.

Okay, well aside from giving away my Social Security number I think thats about it.

I guess I should say a few words about Lyssira as well.

Lyssira is a warrior who currently freelances in the Stormwind City area. She was originally trained by the Stormwind Guard (not the guild of that name) and feels a strong identification with Stormwind because she has a younger sister there as well as both parents.

Lyssira is a faithful follower of The Light and desires to see The Light's spread to all of the darkened places of Azeroth and the other alliance kingdoms.

Hi there!

I play or... will play Tatum. A level 1 rogue at the moment. I read the same post on the Roleplay forums and thought that FIRping would be something that I would like to try.

I've played WoW since release, and as wonderful a game as it is... I need something to spice it up. Rp has always kept things interesting, but lately I've had a hard time finding people who Rp when I'm on. So I rerolled on Moon Guard.

Anyway... I really like the idea of character progression. So I made a simple street rat type character. I don't plan to level her... yet, who knows really. I would really just kind of like her interations with other characters to shape who she becomes. And then I can sit back and enjoy the ride, you know?

Also, I have a daugher so my play times are a bit odd. But I look forward to seeing you all about. I'm so glad to find a FIRP guild!

Your mage is fine.I don't want us to feel that we have to make character adjustments in order to have some "ideal" group. Just as in life, we will do the best we can with the group we can and adjust as needed.

Hello there Lyssira, and everybody else!

Very excited to be a posting here, and being given a chance to take part in this project. I made a post inquiring about this sort of group on the Roleplaying World of Warcraft forums, and Lyssira replied telling me about the little group going on here, and I must say it looks very good. This type of FIRP is exactly what I've been looking for, for a very long time in WoW now. Very excited to have finally found it.

So I rolled a Dwarf Hunter by the name of Rorruk on Moon Guard just about an hour ago. He's only level 6 now, but I'll be leveling him at a decent pace.

A little info about Rorruk that's allready set in stone...

He's a true survivalist. Rorruk makes his own armor, (Leatherworking / Skinning) and also catches and cooks his own food, (Fishing / Cooking). He survives and lives pretty much alone, besides his Bear companion: Niko. I don't think Rorruk is going to have any real "Home" so to speak, he's a traveler; the wilderness as a whole is his home, although he does stay at inns from time to time in his travels.

I don't have everything about Rorruk planned out as of yet though. Like you can tell above I have his style of living planned out how I want, but I don't have much as a backstory as of yet. Just started thinking about this the other day, so a solid backstory might take me a little time.

So a little info about myself now...

Name's Dave. I'm 18, just finished my second semester of college this week. Job status is really iffy right now. Was working at the Home Depot down the street for a couple months, didn't really like it though, so ended up quitting to work for my father's electric company. Started doing that, but not really in to that either...Heh, well I'm still working for my father as of now, but am looking for a full-time job over the summer I'll actually enjoy. Applied to a lot of the Game-Stop's in my area, waiting to get a word back from some of them.

Sooooo right now, I have a lot of free time. Not currently playing any sports, although I may be joining a volleyball team with friends and family here in a couple weeks, heh. I'm pretty athletic by nature, played hockey for highschool three of the four years, I excersize a lot, try to stay in decent shape.

My name is Sean, my character's name is Onaron, and he's a Draenei shaman. His father, also named Onaron, was one of the broken who first took on the teachings of Norbundo. He has an older brother, a vindicator named Oren who doesn't truely approve of the shaman way, but they still get on very well.

As it stands, Onaron's plans are to experience Azaroth and to engage with it's particular primal energies. What adventures that takes him on he's yet to find out, but he's come to Stormwind, home of the much admired Humans who stood hard against the Burning Legion for so long.

As for me, well, I'm a 20 year old guy living in Melbourne, Australia, which means my play times may be a little apart from the norm (if I'm correct in suggesting that many here are from the U.S). Look forward to seeing you all around!))

Oh, there is even a post by Felandria (sp?) in the Guild General forum about needing help to expose the hit squad. So, that story line can even be joined on an opposing side if you like. Smile

I could easily see my priest participating in ‘the general’ story; either as informed to the true nature of the prophecy or no (both have great RP-ing potential). Couyr as a player is a bit ignorant as to why he participates in the rituals of the church, although not having other RP opportunities I have not flushed his background out further.

Sumain is more interested in the base nature of humanity (read eating a drinking). He has spent a great deal of time working on professions that allow him to indulge (375 fishing and cooking, for instance); and usually goes into instances with no less that 40 jugs of bourbon or similar beverage and his handy Brewfest Barrel. I could see him participating in ‘the hit squad’ story, perhaps eventually coming across pertinent information in his quest for better food recipes or overhearing something/being solicited in one of his drunken revelries at the Slaughtered Lamb.

Can you use both characters? Absolutely!

You may find an easy way into the General story in a way similar to Consadine ( http://moonguardfirp.myfreeforum.org/about29.html ) or you may have your own ideas. There has not been a meeting yet, but Consadine sent Lyssira a prayer by mail, not really knowing why other than he felt led to do it.

For the Hit Squad you should go to this thread ( http://moonguardfirp.myfreeforum.org/about31.html ) and post there. You should be contacted soon.

Hello everyone. I came upon this forum from the FIRP 101 thread. I've always been Heavy RP, even seeing to that Aurthon eat and drank at least twice a day, or else he'd suffer consequences. I've even RP'd with NPCs just to get that immersion, but craving a little more I've decided to give FIRPing a try.

Aurthon is my main, currently a level 38, a Human warrior here on Moon Guard. He was born and raised in Stromgarde and is the son of a somewhat well known Knight of the Silver Hand. He is currently enlisted in the Alliance military, making his start as a dock patroller in Theramore where he worked his way up to a detachment in Dustwallow Marsh at North Point. He enlisted into a specialized unit shortly afterward and has since been transfered over to the Stormwind Guard as an agent of Theramore's ruling military apparatus.

I plan to launch a covert military/spy style guild connected to Jaina Proudmoore and Shandris Feathermoon in the future, themed around removing enemies of the Alliance, potential threats to the stability of Kalimdor, and later infiltrating Northrend. I have a feeling FIRP and meeting players here will magnify the potential of fun that can be had with this guild.

My play times are a bit sporadic right now, pending on work and when I can get online, but lately I've been on in the evenings into the wee hours of the morning. I guess that's all for now! Very Happy

Take a look at the Story Line forum (http://moonguardfirp.myfreeforum.org/forum8.php&sid=f84f765b890ea5e3a9f00e07080d8f4b) and see if you are interested in either or both of the storylines that are being developed. If you want to get involved in the Hit Squad don't forget to make a post in (http://moonguardfirp.myfreeforum.org/about31.html) so you can be contacted. Let me know if you want to follow The General. Both are in need of more participants but the Hit Squad needs signitures for its guild charter as well.

Whether you decide to participate in one or both current storylines feel free to also start a thread in the Story Line forum about your own idea as well. If you wish to develop your guild idea into a story line you are free to use the forum as a place to discuss and get input. Once the idea is developed it will be "announced" as a new story line.

But more important than anything else, have fun!

Hello, everyone. Nice to find other roleplayers on WoW! I found this forum via the RP Thread Collective posting on the WoW Forums, and just finished reading the FIRP 101 article. I personally have tended toward Heavy RP, so I'm interested in giving FIRP a try.

In real life, I live in the US (California), and I get online to play sporadically, usually late in the evenings.

My primary character on Moon Guard is Throt the Unclean, Male Orc Rogue and Axe Bearer of the Shadow Wolf Clan. He is shifty, suspicious, cynical, and absolutely willing to do whatever is necessary to preserve, protect, and forward the purposes of his clan; especially those things others aren't willing to do. As of this posting, he's level 12, and the only Rogue in his clan (which, to be honest, I find perversely entertaining).

I've also currently got two Alliance characters on Moon Guard: Sidhne, an energetic and self-confident Female Dwarf Rogue (call her a 'thief' and be prepared for the sudden insertion of a length of steel into a sensitive portion of your anatomy - she's a scout ); and Pentegarn, a scholarly and pious Male Human Mage with an intense longing to return to his family's homeland of Dalaran. Both are currently of low level.

In all cases, I am still developing their backstories, currently reading up on the history of Azeroth to better play them. In some circumstances, I've made up the details as I've actually played, but I'm doing my best to keep them internally consistent.

If I had my drothers, I'd import all of my characters on other servers to Moon Guard. Alas, I am a cheapskate and can't justify spending money to have them transferred. I admit, I'm a bit of a compulsive character creator. If anyone happens to see them on their servers, show a little RP love! They are:

- Gyrfalke, Female Human Warrior, Level 21 - Blackhand
- Ragnir, Male Dwarf Paladin, Level 16 - Blackwater Raiders
- Cathargerd, Male Human Priest, <Deus Invictus>, Level 11 - Venture Co.

Glad to see you around. Unfortunately, things on these boards have gotten a little slow lately. However, if you're interested in Heavy RP Horde side, I'm looking for fellow players for my character Oloret (a Forsaken warrior). Feel free to send me a letter in game - I'm sure we can find some IC reason for meeting. Oloret has a special affection for Brill, and is most often seen defending it's borders. Perhaps your clan sent you there for some reason?
