A fellow warlock very close to Bellara was recently killed by the Covenant, who for the time being will remain nameless. Bellara doesn't know exactly who or what killed this person, but will stop at nothing to find the murderers.

The few clues that she could find got her no where, and just as it seemed as if she had hit a dead end she recieved a mysterious letter.

The letter was from someone known only as "Darkstar". This Darkstar instructed her to search in a specific catacomb chamber under the Cathedral. Upon searching it Bellara discovered a chest, inside of which was a list of names. Nearly every name had been crossed off of the list. One did remain, however Bellara could only make out a few letters.

Bellara responded to Darkstar, thanking him for his assistance, but assking for more information. Darkstar responded that he was bound by an oath and could give no more, perhaps giving too much already.

Realizing that the mysterious Darkstar would no longer be of any use to her, she set about attempting to discover what the name on the sheet was. After many long hours of searching in the Cathedral library Bellara stumbled upon the name of Xaiden Raethen, former knight of the Silver Hand.

This name fit the one found on the sheet, and so Bellara contacted him requesting a meeting...

Xaiden and Bellara met at the Pig and Whistle, where Bellara attempted to find the answers she so desperately sought. She discovered more than she had barganed for. The shocking truth about The Covenant of the Light, as well as the name of one of the Covenant's newest members was revealed to her. Bellara now seeks out Lyssira Smithford, so as to warn her before it's too late.
