Agent Darkstar called together a diverse group from across Azeroth and revealed himself publicly for the first time. Attending the meeting were Consadine, Rorruk, Aedrean, and Lyssira.

During the course of the meeting there was lively discussion but it was clear that Darkstar was in charge.

The meeting's attendees learned of a group formed by the Church during the Third War called The Covenant of Light that was tasked with running various covert missions against the constant threat of The Scourge. These missions were very much in the interest of The Church but were carried out in secret so that The Church could maintain an image untainted by the necessities of war. Darkstar told of the ill fated final mission of the Covert group in which all but a few were, unfortunately, wiped out. The survivors were Xaiden, his brother, and Agent Darkstar.

Recent developments involving Scourge movements have caused The Church to rebuild The Covenant of Light in order to meet these new threats.

After his brief history of the original group and an explanation of why each person was called to join this secret group, Darkstar asked each participant to sign an oath of allegiance to the Covenant. (guild charter) Of those attending the meeting, Consadine, Aedrean, and Lyssira signed the oath. Rorruk left the gathering early citing his distaste of working for a group with so much secrecy.

In the coming days it is expected that Darkstar will continue to seek members to participate in The Covenant of Light so that operations may pass to the next phase.
